As our adopted unit the 62nd Engineer Battalion heads back overseas, we added our support as providing  a meal for the soldiers and families before they deploy. We served 400 soldiers and 800 family members over the course of 2 days starting Sunday evening and ending Monday morning.

Over the past 3 years the Operation Kid Comfort at the Killeen Armed Service YMCA has made over 830 quilts and 260 pillow cases,  under the direction of lead volunteer, Sieglinde Moore.
